Rape within a domestic setting is a serious criminal offence under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, and allegations can arise from incidents between current or former partners, spouses, or individuals in an intimate relationship. - Intentional penetration of the vagina, anus or mouth with a penis
- The absence of the complainant’s consent
