Access with Intent to Commit Offences 

Under section 2 of the Computer Misuse Act 1990, this offence occurs where a person commits unauthorised access to computer material with the intent to commit, or facilitate the commission of, a further offence (such as fraud, theft or blackmail). The prosecution must prove both unauthorised access and the required criminal intent.
